Blessed Sacrament Hosts Successful Parish Trivia Night

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church held its first-ever parish trivia night on Saturday, October 6, drawing over 80 attendees of all ages for an evening of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition. Participants enjoyed a meal of hot dogs, mac and cheese, and chips before diving into trivia challenges across several categories.

The “Big Cats” category tested teams’ knowledge of cat species, the Detroit Lions, and the patron saint of cats. In the “Restaurants” round, contestants impressed with facts about the Catholic origin of McDonald’s filet-o-fish and restaurants featured on TV. After a break for homemade pie, trivia wrapped up with a sweet “Chocolate” category, featuring questions about Hershey bars and a life-size chocolate pope.

The night was filled with laughter and good-natured competition. Special thanks were given to the “Special Event Task Force” for organizing the meal. Congratulations to Team VelCom, who took first place, followed by Team Elias and Team Amelia.
