Women Who Walked with Christ

Mary Magdalene

Mary Magdalene is one of the most well-known women in the Gospels. Once healed by Jesus (Luke 8:2), she became one of His most devoted followers. She was present at the crucifixion and was the first to witness the resurrected Christ (John 20:1–18). Because she was entrusted with sharing this news, she is often called the “apostle to the apostles.”

Lois and Eunice

Lois and Eunice are praised by Paul for their deep faith and for passing it down to Timothy, a young disciple and leader in the early Church (2 Timothy 1:5). Their story reminds us of the importance of nurturing faith in the next generation.

Priscilla

A leader in the early Christian community, Priscilla worked alongside her husband, Aquila, and the Apostle Paul. She is recognized for her role in teaching and evangelization, demonstrating that women played an essential part in spreading the Gospel (Acts 18:24–26).
