Exciting New Opportunity for High School Students
Notre Dame Vision Program Replaces 2025 Outreach Mission Trip
In an effort to better align with student interests and manage parish resources effectively, Blessed Sacrament Parish has made an important decision regarding its annual summer programming. The previously planned Outreach Mission Trip for June 2025 has been postponed, but there’s good news: the parish is offering a remarkable alternative experience!
Instead of the mission trip, high school students (grades 9-12) are invited to take part in the Notre Dame Vision Program, a transformative five-day event hosted at the University of Notre Dame. This immersive experience will offer students an incredible opportunity to deepen their faith while engaging with a dynamic community of young people from across the country.
More About the New Opportunity for High School Students
The Notre Dame Vision Program focuses on helping students recognize God’s grace in their daily lives. Through workshops, prayer sessions, small group discussions, and inspirational talks from keynote speakers, students will explore how to live out their faith in powerful ways. They’ll also have the chance to stay in dorms, eat in the university’s dining halls, and experience the campus’s sacred spaces, adding a unique college experience to their faith journey.
This program offers the perfect balance of spiritual growth and fellowship, giving students the space to reflect on how they can use their gifts in service to others and live out the teachings of the Gospel.
More information about how to sign up will be available in January 2025.
A Parish Committed to Faith and Service
Blessed Sacrament Parish remains deeply committed to its mission of fostering both faith and service in the lives of its young parishioners. While the Outreach Mission Trip is postponed, the parish looks forward to planning future service trips, and students are encouraged to share their interests and ideas with the Faith Formation Office. This ongoing dialogue will help shape future opportunities that truly resonate with the needs and passions of our youth.
This shift in programming reflects Blessed Sacrament’s dedication to offering experiences that not only engage students but also nurture their spiritual development in meaningful ways. As the parish explores new avenues to foster spiritual growth, we thank our community for their understanding and continued support.
